The easiest way to watch Kick on a TV is the official KICK app: it's on Google Play for Android TV and Google TV and on the App Store for Apple TV. Based on available information, Samsung and LG TVs have no official app as of November 2026, so there you'd use the TV's browser, cast from your phone (Chromecast, AirPlay) or connect a computer over HDMI.
Is there a Kick app for TV?
- Android TV and Google TV: yes. KICK: Live Streaming on Google Play has a TV version (the store listing has a separate TV tab). That covers Sony, Philips, TCL and Xiaomi TVs and Android TV boxes.
- Apple TV: yes. The KICK app on the App Store is available for Apple TV but needs tvOS 26 or later.
- Amazon Fire TV: according to guides from fall 2026, the app is in the Amazon Appstore. Availability may depend on your store region.
- Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS): no official app; use the methods below.
Avoid third-party apps called "Kick" and APKs from unverified sites, and never enter your password in them. Kick's help center advises checking that an app is published by Kick itself.
How to install Kick on Android TV and Google TV
- Open Google Play on your TV, or search in the Apps section on Google TV.
- Find KICK and check the developer: it should be Kick itself.
- Click Install. You can also install it remotely from Google Play on the web using the same Google account.
- Log in to your Kick account to see the channels you follow.
Google Play reviews complain about the TV version's stability. If the app freezes, update it and your TV's firmware; other causes are covered in why Kick is not working.
How to watch Kick on Samsung and LG with the browser
- Open the built-in browser (Samsung Internet on Tizen, Web Browser on webOS) and go to kick.com.
- Find the channel with search and switch the player to full screen.
- If the video stutters, pick 720p or Auto in the player: TV browsers are weaker than computer ones.
This is the least reliable method. Kick officially tests on Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari, and the player may not start in older TV browsers. If so, switch to casting from your phone.
How to cast Kick from your phone to a TV: AirPlay and Chromecast
- iPhone and iPad: the KICK app's App Store description lists casting to your TV with AirPlay. Start a stream, tap the AirPlay icon in the player or Screen Mirroring in Control Center, and choose your TV. AirPlay 2 works with Apple TV and many recent Samsung and LG models, so check yours.
- Android: if the player has no cast button, use system screen casting (Smart View on Samsung, Cast in Quick Settings) to a Chromecast or a TV with Google Cast.
- Chrome on a computer: open the stream, then menu ⋮ → Cast… → choose your Chromecast. Your phone or computer and the TV must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
How to watch Kick on a TV over HDMI
- Connect a laptop or PC to the TV with an HDMI cable and select that input on the TV.
- On Windows, press Win + P → Duplicate or Second screen only.
- If the sound still comes from the laptop, choose the TV as the output device in sound settings.
- Open kick.com in a browser and make the player full screen.
HDMI is the most reliable option: every site feature works, chat included, and quality depends only on the computer's connection.
What this means for streamers
TV viewers watch from the couch and often keep a stream on in the background, so your picture has to read from a distance: large overlay text and chat shown on screen so it's visible without a phone (see how to add Kick chat to OBS). On a big screen the gap between 720p and 1080p is obvious, and per Kick's help center, 1080p unlocks for channels after an engagement threshold. To help a new stream get noticed in the directory in the first place, you can add starting Kick live viewers from $0.06 per 1000, no password needed. Kick's rules prohibit artificial activity, so keep volumes moderate.
