To add a clickable website link to your TikTok profile, a personal account needs at least 1,000 followers; that is when the Website field appears under Edit profile. Business accounts usually have no follower threshold, but some regions require a verified registered business. Below 1,000, you can connect Instagram and YouTube and send people through them.
How many followers you need to add a link on TikTok
- Personal account: 1,000 followers or more. According to 2026 guides, the field may appear 24–48 hours after you cross the threshold rather than instantly.

How to add a link to your TikTok profile step by step
- Open the Profile tab in the bottom right corner.
- Tap "Edit profile".
- Find the Website field (in some versions: Links → Add).
- Paste the full URL including https:// and save.
- Open your profile from another account and check that the link is clickable.
Why there is no Website field on your TikTok profile
- You have fewer than 1,000 followers, or unfollows pushed you below the threshold.
- You crossed the threshold recently: wait a day or two.
- Your app is outdated: update it and log in again.
- The feature is not available in your region or for your account type.
- You recently switched between personal and business, or the account has restrictions for violations.

Which links you can put in your profile
- A website, online store, link-in-bio page or Telegram channel.
- Links to scam, spam, malicious or adult sites are not allowed. They break the Community Guidelines, and TikTok may remove the link along with your access to the field.
- Links in your bio text, video captions or comments are not clickable, and mass-posting links in comments looks like spam and can get you restricted.
How to share a link without 1,000 followers
- Instagram and YouTube on your profile. Under Edit profile you can connect these accounts with no follower threshold, then put your website link on Instagram or YouTube.
- Business account. Good for brands and shops, but some popular music becomes unavailable.
- Link-in-bio services. A multi-link page is useful once you have the field. Until then, you can place it on your connected Instagram.
- Username and bio. Write a memorable site or channel name as plain text, without a link, so people can find it via search.
How to reach 1,000 followers faster
The foundation is regular videos in one niche, a strong hook in the first seconds and a clear reason to follow.
