TikTok Studio is TikTok's official creator tool: a standalone app for iOS and Android plus a web version at tiktok.com/tiktokstudio. It brings together analytics, video uploads and scheduling, comment management and a monetization section. It's free and works with any TikTok account — no separate sign-up needed.
What is TikTok Studio and why creators use it
TikTok launched Studio in 2024 to replace the old Creator tools inside the app and the Creator Center web service. The idea is to put everything a creator needs in one place instead of digging through the main app, which is built for watching the feed.
- TikTok Studio app — a separate app in the App Store and Google Play; you log in with your TikTok account.
- Web version — tiktok.com/tiktokstudio in a desktop browser; the Upload button on the TikTok website leads here too.
- Inside TikTok — on your profile, under the bio, there's a TikTok Studio link that opens the same tools.
It isn't a separate network or a second account: everything you do in Studio happens on your regular profile.
What TikTok Studio can do: analytics, desktop uploads, scheduling
- Analytics. Overview for 7, 28 or 60 days (or a custom range), per-video stats — views, watch-through, traffic sources — and audience data: gender, age, countries, cities and active hours.
- Desktop uploads. On the web you drag a video from your computer, add a caption, cover and privacy settings — no need to send the file to your phone.
- Scheduling. You can set a post for a future date and time; the standard window is up to 10 days. Details in our guide to scheduling TikTok posts.
- Comments. The management section pulls comments from all your videos into one sortable list.
- Editor and ideas. The app has a camera, photo editor, AutoCut and collections of trending posts.
- Monetization. An earnings overview and the programs your account can access.
The real value is analytics. It shows videos that got stuck at the first few hundred views even though they hold viewers as well as the rest. Those videos often just lack early traction: you can add first views on our TikTok views page — from $0.14 per 1000, no password, only the video link. How to read the metrics is covered in TikTok analytics explained.
How to download TikTok Studio and log in
- Open the App Store or Google Play, search for “TikTok Studio” and install it. Only download from the official store.
- Launch it and choose to continue with TikTok: if the main app is on your phone, you confirm the account with one tap.
- On a computer, go to tiktok.com/tiktokstudio and log in with a QR code from the TikTok app, a phone number or email.
- If you have several accounts, switch between them in the Studio profile — each has its own stats.
Never enter your TikTok login and password on sites offering an “extended studio” or a “Studio APK”: that's a common way accounts get hijacked.
TikTok Studio vs TikTok LIVE Studio
The names are similar, but they're different programs:
- TikTok Studio — content management: videos, analytics, comments, earnings. Works on a phone and in a browser.
- TikTok LIVE Studio — a desktop program for live streaming: scenes, screen and game capture, webcam. Not every account gets access.
If you want to stream from a PC, read how to stream on TikTok from a computer, which covers LIVE Studio, OBS and the stream key.
Does TikTok Studio work in Ukraine?
Yes. The app is available in the Ukrainian App Store and Google Play, and the web version opens without a VPN. Analytics, uploads, scheduling and comments work the same as elsewhere.
The limits are on monetization: the Creator Rewards Program is not officially available to Ukrainian accounts, so the earnings section looks almost empty for many Ukrainian creators. LIVE gifts and brand deals remain available if you meet the requirements. Features may vary by app version and account type.
How to use TikTok Studio analytics to grow
- Once a week, open the 7-day overview and note which videos performed above and below average.
- Compare watch-through: if viewers leave in the first 2–3 seconds, the problem is the opening.
- Check traffic sources: the For You share shows how the recommendation system received the video.
- Post during your audience's active hours — you'll find them in the followers tab.
Once your content holds viewers, social proof speeds up growth: a profile with a few hundred followers looks more trustworthy than an empty one. You can support it with TikTok followers from ads — $6 per 1000, up to 300 a day, no password. TikTok's rules prohibit artificial activity, so order moderately and only alongside regular content: nobody can guarantee a spot in recommendations.
