When it makes sense

Views and shares change the counters in a post's stats. That can help when you have published something useful - a breakdown, a case study, a product announcement - and do not want the numbers to make it look ignored.

Be clear about what these services do not do. A post's place in Hot and in the subreddit feed depends mainly on votes from real users and on how fresh it is, so buying views and shares does not guarantee reaching Hot or the top of a subreddit, and it adds no upvotes, karma or comments. If a post is weak or breaks community rules, higher counters will not fix that.

How to choose

Pick views if the post's view counter matters to you, and shares if the Share counter does. Keep the amount in line with real activity: a post with a dozen upvotes and a hundred thousand views looks odd to readers and moderators alike. For a new post in a small subreddit, 1000-5000 views and a few hundred shares is a sensible start. Both services start almost immediately and run fast; there is no gradual day-by-day delivery.

Reddit rules and risks

Reddit takes manipulation seriously: its rules prohibit artificially promoting content, and subreddit moderators can remove a post they see as spam or undisclosed advertising. Repeated violations can lead to a community ban or a shadowban, where other users stop seeing your posts and comments.
