Facebook monetization has been available in Ukraine since early 2026. According to ITC.ua and dev.ua, Ukrainian creators received their first payouts in January 2026, including Pages with audiences of 5,000–10,000 followers. Facebook pays for Reels and video views, as well as photos, text posts and Stories, plus Stars donations. Below are the requirements, where to click and real payout figures.
Facebook monetization requirements in Ukraine
Meta does not publish a separate threshold for Ukraine and opens access in waves, by invitation. Based on Meta's rules and 2026 guides, the picture looks like this:
- Professional mode or a Page. A regular personal profile cannot be monetized — see the difference in Facebook Page vs profile.
- Age 18+ and residence in a supported country — Ukraine is one of them.
- Around 5,000 followers. Some guides also mention 60,000 minutes viewed in 60 days or 5 active Reels in 30 days — Meta shows the exact numbers in your dashboard.
- Original content. Reuploads of other people's videos, unedited compilations and unlicensed music cost you payouts.
- Partner Monetization Policies and Community Standards — with no repeated strikes.
If you are a couple of thousand short of the threshold, you can add Page followers in our Facebook services: $1 per 1,000 with a 60-day guarantee or $1.80 with a 180-day guarantee, from 10 followers, no password — just a link. To be honest, though: Meta checks content originality and audience quality, and platform rules prohibit artificial activity. Buying followers does not guarantee monetization — it only fixes an empty-looking Page at the start.
How to enable Facebook monetization step by step
- Turn on professional mode: profile → "⋯" → "Turn on professional mode". Or create a Page.
- Open the Professional dashboard: in the app via the menu, on desktop in the left column. For Pages, the same is available in Meta Business Suite.
- Go to the Monetization tab: it shows which tools are available and which requirements are missing. If the program is not offered yet, submit the interest form.
- When Content Monetization appears with a "Ready to set up" status, tap "Get started" and accept the terms.
- Complete the tax form (W-8BEN for Ukraine) and add a payout method.

Facebook Reels and video monetization: what gets paid
In 2026 Meta runs a single Content Monetization program that merged in-stream ads, Reels bonuses and the Performance Bonus. You earn from:
- Reels and videos — views and the ads shown in them;
- photos and text posts — based on reach and engagement;
- public Stories — when engagement is high;
- Stars — viewer donations in lives and under videos, $0.01 per Star;
- subscriptions and branded content — separate tools with higher requirements.
How much does Facebook pay for views
There is no fixed rate, and Meta does not disclose one: earnings depend on audience country, niche, retention and how many ads were shown. Benchmarks from Ukrainian creators' reports cited in 2026 guides: about $97 for 1.3 million views, $62 for 1.5 million, and $150+ in two weeks for a Page with 30,000 followers. In other words, a million Reels views from a Ukrainian-speaking audience usually brings tens of dollars, not hundreds. Audiences from the US and Europe pay noticeably more.
Income grows from a steady flow of views rather than one-off viral hits. To see how the feed decides who sees a post, read our breakdown of the Facebook algorithm.
Payouts to Ukraine and taxes
- Where: most often to the IBAN of a USD account at a Ukrainian bank; Payoneer is an alternative.
- Threshold: about $100 according to guides; smaller balances roll over to the next month.
- When: monthly, usually around the 21st for the previous month. A wrong address on the tax form can delay payment.
- Taxes: as an individual — 18% personal income tax plus 5% military levy via the annual return; as a group 3 sole proprietor (FOP) — 5% single tax plus 1% military levy (per Fakty, February 2026).
Why monetization can be denied or switched off
- reuploads from TikTok and YouTube without editing, unlicensed music;
- clickbait and engagement bait like "react to this", strikes;
- sudden activity spikes that are not backed by content.
While your Page is still growing, you can add likes to key posts from our Facebook catalog — from $0.50 per 1,000. Do not order artificial views for videos that are already monetized: Meta pays only for genuine interest and may treat such activity as invalid.
