You can see who viewed your TikTok profile with the built-in Profile view history feature, which lists visitors from the past 30 days. According to TikTok's help pages, it is available to users aged 16 and over with fewer than 5,000 followers, and it only shows visitors who have the setting turned on too.
Can you see who visited your TikTok profile?
Yes, with conditions. TikTok does not reveal every visitor — the feature is mutual. You will see a visitor only if:
- you have Profile view history turned on;
- the visitor has it turned on as well;
- the visit happened within the last 30 days.
If someone has the feature off, they browse your page anonymously and no app can reveal them. Services that promise to "show all your visitors" have no access to this data and often ask for your login and password. Never enter those on third-party sites — it is the fastest way to lose your account.
How to turn on profile view history step by step
- Open your profile and tap the three-line menu in the top-right corner.
- Go to Settings and privacy → Privacy → Profile views.
- Switch on Profile view history.
- Go back to your profile: a visitors icon (footprints or a silhouette) appears at the top. Tap it to open the list.
The feature is off by default, so many people see an empty list simply because they never enabled it. Menu names may vary slightly between app versions.
If people visit but your follower count looks thin, many of them just leave. You can add a starting base on our TikTok followers page — from $3 per 1,000, with real accounts and a 15–30 day refill guarantee on some plans, and no password required.
Why profile view history is not showing
If the Profile views option is missing or your visitor list is empty, check the usual causes:
- Age. The feature is not available to accounts under 16.
- More than 5,000 followers. According to TikTok's help pages at the time of writing, larger accounts cannot use profile view history.
- Visitors turned it off. You only see people who have it enabled too.
- Outdated app. Update TikTok from the App Store or Google Play.
- Visits older than 30 days drop off the list automatically.
Rules can differ by region and change over time. If the option is still missing after an update, it is simply not available for your account yet.
Will someone know you viewed their TikTok profile?
If your Profile view history is on, the page owner will see your visit (as long as they have the feature on as well). To browse profiles anonymously, switch the toggle off in the same menu. The trade-off: you will no longer see your own visitors, because the feature only works both ways.
Can you see who watched your TikTok videos?
Videos have a separate setting, Post view history (Settings and privacy → Privacy → Post views). It shows who watched your videos in the last 7 days and follows the same rules: 16+, under 5,000 followers, and the viewer must have it enabled too. Total views, traffic sources and retention are available in TikTok Studio analytics — without viewer names.
What to do when visitors view your profile but don't follow
View history is a useful signal: people tap through from the feed but don't stay. The reason is usually the profile itself:
- the bio doesn't explain what the account is about or why to follow;
- there are no pinned videos showing your best work;
- low follower and view counts make the page look untrustworthy.
